Supreme Court Nominee Was Being Activist, Conservative Senator Says

Washington, D.C. (11/7/05) - Has Judge Samuel Alito been an activist judge on the federal appeals court? Has he "legislated" from the bench? At least one of Judge Alito's dissenting opinions certainly suggests so, and on Sunday's Meet the Press, Republican Senator Tom Coburn of Oklahoma agreed.
