JIM AND SARAH BRADY PRAISE MAYOR BLOOMBERG
FOR FIGHTING BILL THAT WOULD PUT POLICE AT RISK

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg today once again stood up for common sense gun laws, appearing at a Congressional hearing on H.R. 5005 to harshly criticize legislation that would make it harder for police to combat gun trafficking.

He earned the praise of Jim and Sarah Brady. This week marks the 25th anniversary of Brady's shooting in the assassination attempt on President Reagan.
